My first LRT Ride!

The highlight of the day is me taking the Singapore LRT for the first time in my life. Maybe you’ll laugh that such a trivial thing can be the highlight of the day, but then again, it’s a new experience. And what’s life without trying out things that you have never tried before? I know it’s mad that after a few years of its opening it’s only now that I get to ride on it, but hey, at least that’s one thing I have accomplished before going to Shanghai! In any case I took the ride from Choa Chu Kang to Bukit Panjang (and back, obviously) and I think it’s quite an interesting ride. Pity I didn’t bring my camera with me though.

Now I’m looking forward to a whole new adventure on the Shanghai public transporation system. But before that, I will first have more fun on the Hong Kong one first. It would be a nice idea to take the West Rail which runs from Sham Shui Po to Tuen Mun and Yuen Long. Hopefully the Ma On Shan Rail would be opened sometime while I’m there so I get to try it as well!

What to say, I’m one who loves public transport. It’s always going to be more fun than driving around, cos you get to see different people and places, and that for me is really a wonderful thing.
