Visual Basic vs ASP

Since last night I couldn’t get my project to be loaded into Visual Basic. I spent the whole night trying to figure that out, but somehow it just didn’t work. In order not to delay any further – I’ve decided to switch to ASP. Oh well, honestly speaking, when I’m the only person doing the programming, it probably isn’t going to matter that much. Just that now I’ve got my work cut out to churn out the same project almost all over again since I’m moving from VB to ASP. Thank God I’m using VBScript for my ASP pages as the two of them are rather similar, so the conversion has not been that painful.

Spent the whole day after meeting the Co-Op staffs to do my project – I only managed to have my lunch at 3, and after a briefing at NOC at 5, I went back to the Comp Club office to continue programming until about 8. Reached home at 9-odd and had dinner at 10. Then it’s non-stop programming until now. I think I need to go sleep – didn’t even sleep yesterday while trying to figure out the problem with VB.

Friends are asking me to go out to play tomorrow, but with so little time left for me to churn out the project, I think I might have to give those play a miss. With a bit of luck I may be able to complete the project in 10 days’ time (though I heavily stress the phrase ‘with a bit of luck’).
