Did a day of shopping for my Shanghai trip today. I think it must have been the programming for the past few days – I was totally knackered by lunchtime and I was left with very little energy to carry on walking. But I had to cos I have quite a bit of things to buy. Bought a couple of sweater, a couple of shirts, some socks and a coat. But the highlight of the day has to be the fortune my mum splashed out for me for my new mobile phone. The old one I was using was in such a bad condition that even the mobile shop assistant said that I can’t get a trade-in. Bought the phone for a pretty astronomical price, but when my ERS comes in I’ll definitely pay my mum back. After all I was intending to spend that few hundred dollars the government has for me to buy a new phone anyway.
So my new mobile phone is a Nokia 6230. I bought the phone alone without any contract – so it cost more than what it would normally be. I could have gotten it cheaper, but Starhub did not allow me to do an upgrade, and I’m planning to terminate my M1 line so I won’t want to do an upgrade anyway. So in the end it was a massive sum spent on a phone. To be honest, I really feel very bad to have mum spend so much for my phone. Remind me to pay her back.
The phone was a nice little gadget with a decent camera, a MP3 player, and some pretty cool functions which I have yet to discover.
More programming at night, though the part today was minimal because I really want to sleep a bit earlier today. It’s really no good to be sleeping late everyday. Besides, I can barely open my eyes now.
