The weather in Shanghai has been so hot for the past couple of days that it’s getting scary. The meteo station is saying that highest temperature was 37 degrees today, but Edwin said it was 45 on the outdoor billboard at Raffles City. Whoever is telling the truth? Go figure.

Class today was actually pretty interesting, but somehow I contrived to fall asleep halfway through because I was really tired. Somebody poked me to wake me up – I can’t remember who… but after that I was wide awake and ever alert. I do feel bad about falling asleep though.

Waited for Sister to finish her discussion with her project group before making the way back to Zhongshan Park. After reaching Changning Road, I somehow managed to convince her into going for supper at Dingxi Road. Shared a bowl of noodles (that was basically instant noodles with loads of MSG in the soup – I think I’ll die of MSG overdose soon) with her, had a really good chat with her again (she was saying Aries and Leo make a good couple – now I have to start flipping through those horoscope books), and reached home at about 12. Drank a bit of beer with Chin Keong – it seems like it’s our latest pastime in this horrifying weather.

I’ve sorted out the accomodation for Mum and Sis. Now I’ve just got to work their return tickets out. I’m sure that shouldn’t be a problem.

See you guys tomorrow.
