What’s worse than not having an air-condition in the office?
The air-conditioner is out of service.
I couldn’t believe that I was perspiring like mad for the entire day. I think that was another kg lost due to loss of body fluids.
Went for dinner with the Pudong section of NCS4, and went to The Bund after that. They were very fascinated by the place, which kinda reminded me of myself when I first arrived in Shanghai and seeing The Bund for the first time. Maybe I’ve been here long enough to lose the passion I have for The Bund. That said, I think it’ll still be a nice thing to be sitting along The Bund just to enjoy the breeze and the scenery and do some serious thinking. Come to think about it, I’ve been in Shanghai for 178 days (yes I do keep track). Time certainly does fly – I’m already more than halfway through my stint here in Shanghai. I mean, Renhao from NCS4 has already started work at my company, so I can really start looking forward to leaving Shanghai for Singapore. One thing does come to my mind though – how will I feel when I eventually leave Shanghai? Right now I’m still in the “don’t mind staying but would love it if I can go back now” mood, but perhaps in a few months’ time that would change.
I have to constantly remind myself that I have unfinished tasks to do.
There might be a few big things for me to do in the next few months here in Shanghai. Nothing is confirmed yet, so I’m not disclosing what they are. But I certainly hope these big things are going to come true.
Too hot, too tired to do anything. So I’m off to sleep.
