Typhoon.

Yup. You read it right. A typhoon is striking Shanghai tonight. After my dinner with some of the kids from the 4th batch, the weather suddenly turned up against us and it was kinda scary. You can literally see the rain coming down that got blown by the wind, the trees were shaking, the wires were swinging profusely… basically what you would expect from a typhoon. The news people are saying that this typhoon is going to be the most powerful in 8 years, and I think that would be scary for the Singaporeans among us because they have never seen anything like that before. Not for me though, typhoons are nothing new. In fact I was kinda looking forward to that because it’s the first time for me after such a long while.

Tomorrow will be the Rag Day back in NUS, and I have only one message for the SOC Rag & Float team – ALL THE BEST! The effort you guys have made for the past few months for the FOCC program has been nothing short of brilliant, and put a perfect end to the entire FOCC program with a banging Rag Day! Just because we are a small faculty doesn’t mean that we can’t make the most noise against the other faculties! Go out and do your best!

If I had the money I really would have gone back to Singapore to catch the Rag Day. I think I’m really missing school, or more specifically, I miss orientation. So no matter what happens next year, I will be part of the orientation program.

Have been playing NFSU2. I don’t think that’s good for my laptop and my eyes.

I think I really should get down to writing a letter to you.
