Tired.

Did quite a bit of work today – was constantly busy with writing a research paper and doing research. It’s weird that I’m writing a research paper? Well, not really cos it’s actually my work – part of a big project. This bit of research is actually quite interesting. Initially I thought it’s going to be difficult finding the information I need, but after a while I discovered that there is so much different information on the same topic, so there needs to be a lot of digestion on my part to do before I can actually decide what kind of information to use and how to make them all go nicely into the paper. Tiring, but fun.

Might need to be going to Hangzhou next week for some of my work, and I probably might have to stay there for a day or two. Though I would really need to work out what are the things that I need to find out when I get there, so the time to be spent there is going to be productive.

Feel like going for a chillout session this weekend. Just to unwind from the work that I’ve been doing for the past couple of days. It’s not exactly stressful, it’s just that perhaps I should let my mind loose for an evening and have a nice chat with people worth my time. To be honest, I really miss sitting outside the Comp Club office and chatting with everyone there. It’s like, I don’t have to really worry about what I’m saying cos everyone sitting around me is on the same wavelength as me, so I can really let my mind loose, just like they can let theirs loose. If there’s one thing that I miss about school life, that will be it. So yup, I actually like SOC much more than NOC.

I went to send my bicycle for another repair job today and got the pedal axis changed. The old one has apprarently been brushed so badly that it was in danger of coming off. 10 RMB was all I spent in getting the thing changed, but that has given me a much better ride, so it’s 10 RMB well spent.

I think I might want to go to Shaoxing the weekend that the rest of the people are going Huangshan. Honestly like I said, I prefer going to places that people don’t normally wish to go. So I intend to go to the Northeast of China in October rather than Jiuzaigou, and to Heilongjiang in December instead of somewhere else. Anyone keen on Shaoxing please send me a message through the usual methods. I probably just need one or two more people to go together with me to share the cost. If no one is to come along then I’d probably do two day trips on the Saturday and the Sunday. It might be fun.
