Winter.

It’s been a few hectic days for me so I didn’t really update much… the thing is that not much happened too, so I think you guys didn’t miss much about my life.

The weekend has been strange, but it was nice. Spent almost the whole day at home on Saturday, playing RTK10 while I should have been working on my business case. After playing for really the entire day, I went out with the rest to Simply Thai for dinner – well the lure of a big discount was perhaps hard to pass! The dinner was great, and I had quite a bit to eat. The final amount I paid for the dinner was nice too, and considering how much we all ate, it was a basement bargain. After dinner we went to Shanghai Gecheng for karaoke – somebody came up with the idea of singing overnight, and I think it would be the last time that I’ll ever stay in a karaoke until 6 in the morning! Was really exhausted from all the singing, and it didn’t help when the weather was so freaking cold when we got out! I was sure that it must have been below zero degree!

Reached home at about 6.30 and went straight to sleep. Woke up at about 3.30 still feeling horribly tired. I really do think that cold weather makes people lethargic, as I really didn’t have any energy to do anything. So apart from surfing around aimlessly, I didn’t really do anything. Went over to the airport to pick up a friend who was flying into Shanghai and I’m sure the down jacket that I borrowed temporarily from Yvonne went into good use! A leather jacket is never going to enough to last the Shanghai winter – it’s not the low temperature that’s scary, but it’s the wind that blows straight at your face that freezes you!

Work again tomorrow. With just 10 working days left for me, I shouldn’t be complaining. But in any case, I’ll probably fly back to Singapore on the 5th January so that I can go back with a couple of the rest of the gang. Well, they will be stopping in Bangkok for a few days, but I’m going to fly straight back cos my finances just don’t allow me to stay even for that few days in Bangkok. Not that I’m entirely interested with that place anyway. Besides I know you lot back in Singapore are missing me so I won’t make you guys wait more. Haha.

Oh just a sidenote, it’s zero degree out there. So it would be safe to say that winter has kicked off. Whatever happened to autumn?
