Project.

I think I have just taken on the most challenging project in my one year stay here in Shanghai. And the best thing is, my internship ends officially on 16 December, which in case none of you realise, it’s actually next Friday. The challenging part about this project is that it’s something that no one has successfully done before (I can’t really say if no one has done it before because I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure that no one has successfully done it before) and to a certain extent, we are plunging very much into the unknown, basically testing the water that we are treading on at the same time. I guess that’s entrepreneurship for you.

Spanish class today was fine – time seemed to have pass by pretty quickly. There are already less people coming for the class, presumably because they feel that the class isn’t exactly enriching. For me I think it’s OK, probably because my English is better to start with, so it’s not so bad for me to understand a teacher who teaches in English, even though it’s more like Spanglish rather than real English, but that works for me.

Yvonne just said over the phone that she’s clearing money. I wish she can clear some to me cos I kinda need that. Haha.

Probably need to start checking out the train tickets to Shijiazhuang one of these days.

And I really believe someone among everyone I know in Shanghai is a bit too arrogant for his/her own good. I think they probably haven’t been reading Chinese forums or websites to know that the top phrase, as far as the Chinese Internet world is concerned, is “做人要厚道”. Not surprised if some people don’t realise, cos everyone has different upbringing, but that’s no excuse. The world doesn’t spin round one particular person, so there’s no reason to act so arrogant or so proud. I was a victim of my own arrogance before so I know how bad one can suffer because of it. Some people really need to grow up and learn about living, for it’s not just a routine to go through, but it is an art. An art that needs mastering instead of just passing through motion. Oh well.
