Over.

Finally it’s over. The stay in Shanghai is really over. It’s hard to accept that it’s over just like that. While I should be excited about going back home, I am actually feeling very down now. It’s like after one whole year in Shanghai, with all these great memories, I have to finally leave all of these behind and return to Singapore. Of course it didn’t help when I didn’t have exactly a good day today – probably because I’m just too sad to be leaving Shanghai in the first place.

I just hope that all the friendships that I’ve forged aren’t going to be a spilled glass of water that would disappear and never to come back.
