Woke up at 5.15 to get ready to come home. And after almost 15 hours, I’m back in Singapore, sitting in front of my laptop and using the wireless network that my sister fixed up a while back to write today’s journal.
The feeling is kinda surreal for me, as I made my way home. From the moment that I boarded the plane in Pudong to getting into my house, the whole feeling is just very strange. I mean, it’s not like I don’t want to come back into the house, but it definitely would take some time for the “heck I’m home already” feeling to set in. I mean, life has to go back to normal for me here in Singapore, and the same will be for those of my friends back in Shanghai. For someone who’s “trespassed” into their lives, I hope the memories have been great for them as they were for me.
Dad wants the whole family to go Indonesia during the Chinese New Year period to see my grandmother. Not the most exciting prospects, but I guess I don’t have a choice, do I? And since the last time that I’ve gone back there was so long ago, perhaps it would be nice to be there. I think it must have 10 years ago that I last went there. Time sure did fly by.
Going back to school tomorrow to say hello to everyone around. Hopefully it will be a nice day too.
And ya, it’s nice to be able to see blogspot again.
