New hair colour!

To celebrate a new chapter in my life, I coloured my hair reddish brown today!

The screening of the kids applying to NOC was very interesting, but because of a non-disclosure agreement I can’t say anything about what I knew, what I said, and most importantly, who I saw! Hahaha…

Anyway school today was very interesting. The lesson was fun with lots of discussions – that’s what I like about university studies. Some people hates me for being so opinionated or always want to take part in discussions, but I think they can go on and hate me for being loud, because I know I’m learning and they aren’t. After all, if the lecturer asks for participation and everyone’s just going to keep quiet, then isn’t the class going to drag because everyone would be waiting? Then if I’m the one who breaks the silence, everyone can go home early! Now if they still want to hate me for that, then there’s not a damn thing I can say because it would be their own undoing that they don’t get to go home earlier! Besides, if you don’t like me for what I am, then all I’m going to say is sorry but that’s too bad for you!

A question that has been going on around my head for the past few days is that I’ve been talking about wanting to go back to China and work, but am I really going to be there for myself? Or is it because everyone’s going there so I also want to be there? Is China really the place that I want to be in? I don’t want to be there because someone is there or everyone is there – I want to be there only if I can craft out a good career for myself. But have I been looking so closely at China that I might be missing out on other places that might give me a chance to have an even better career? Would places like Indonesia or Malaysia, which I used to shun, actually provide me a good career path too? Maybe I should start seeing the big picture – after all I believe a successful career would be something that is more important. But as things stand, it’s still Hong Kong and China for me. But companies in Indonesia or Malaysia, my doors are opened for you people too!

It’s going to be Wednesday tomorrow! For all kinds of reasons, I’m very much looking forward to class!
