Open House.

For a horrible week that went past, it was good to have the NUS Open House as something to neutralize the bad things that happened for me.

The Open House was nice not just because of the people I got to see, the work I got to do, but most importantly it’s the new friends (or maybe at this point of time, acquaintances) I get to know. From helping with the NUS Enterprise booth, I got to talk to a few other people who have either gone for NOC, or are actively involved in NES. Then with my involvement at the SOC booth, I managed to successfully convinced a few people to seriously consider putting SOC as one of their choices in the selections. Helping with the Computing Club booth (even though to a slight extent only) allowed me to see the enthusiasm of some of the juniors at Computing. Giving speeches as a student representative from SOC as well as NOC alowed me to hone a bit of my public speaking skills. But perhaps the most enriching experience was with NUSSU in which I’m part of the Union Camp Committee. I helped sell the union camp to perspective students and I think it was a fun thing to do. I also got to know mroe people from the student union, and in my opinion that can’t be a bad thing.

Somehow I just want to live my remaining months as a student to the fullest. Sorry if you think that I should think like an entrepreneur after coming back from Shanghai.
