Yup. I’m still sick. Went to the clinic at YIH at about 4, hoping the doctor would give me an MC so that I could skip the French class at 6. All I got was just a truckload of medicine, but the most important piece of paper was not forthcoming. That meant that I had to go for the French class today, and I was reluctant to go at best. However it turned out that the class today was decent enough – I had a bit of fun. And I realised that one of my students for my IT1003 tutorial turned out to be a friend of one of my classmates in the French class! We had a laugh about that.
Sometimes I’m not exactly sure what some particular people were up to. I mean, c’mon, I’m a year 5 student and I’m not here to try to get the attention of the other gender so I don’t understand why some people are acting so paranoid. Besides, whoever I’m looking for is already somewhere out there, so don’t try to behave like I’m trying to get close to your girl (if it’s even your girl to start with). Do me a favour.
I have no lessons until Monday, though I think I would be in school on both Thursday and Friday. I wonder should I go and be a busybody and turn up at the NUSSU Exco Elections on Friday. Maybe I shouldn’t. I’ll decide on Friday.
And ya, I had a good laugh reading the Campus Observer, especially by the quotes “A directly elected president will be empowered with a clear mandate to act on the behalf of students. Without a clear mandate, the union president has little bargaining power” and, perhaps the funnier of the two, “To get elected as NUSSU president is not all that difficult”.
I could be a NUSSU President too!
