Didn’t hear any response from my supervisor regarding my second draft as yet, so I spent today clearing some backlog of work. Did my French tutorial exercises, cleared the calculation of scores for my two lovely classes of IT1003 tutorial groups, and also read through the term paper for my E-Commerce Business Model project group. All in all, it was a nice day even though most of it was clearing backlog of work.
And yup, I began writing another story today.
Earlier in my university life I used to really write a lot of stuffs. I wrote short film scripts, I wrote short stories – I loved writing at that time. But with all the work that seemed to have piled up onto me, I seemed to stop writing for quite a while. Usually I would have ideas for stories or film scripts going on in my head, but I never quite got the determination to start writing. I finally picked up the determination today, probably because I’ve been quite inspired by watching Princess Hours lately. In the end I drafted out a brief story around the drama series, and wrote the first chapter on it today.
Of course with the stress of HYP I may not be able to continue writing as often as I would want to in the next one week or so, and with my exam coming on 1 December the story may not develop as quickly as I would want to. But hey, even Shakespeare didn’t write all his stuffs in one day, did he?
As for the plot of my story, I’m not going to reveal it now because a lot of thoughts are still going on in my head, but when I’ve got some decent amount of things written, I’ll publish them online, right here on kubicwave.com!
And for those of you who feel that there’s something wrong with me as a 26-year-old guy and still like watching Princess Hours, I think there’s something wrong with you. I recognize a good story when I see one.
