Friday.

It’s getting cold today. I mean, it’s cold in my place, but today was really cold. And apparently it’s going to get worse over the weekend. Since when did I include “enduring cold weather” into my job searching process?

In any case I got a call from one of the many places I sent my resume to and at the end of the phone call, I suddenly have an interview lined up on Wednesday! The job is a temporary teaching position at IVE (Institute of Vocational Education, something like the polytechnics back in Singapore). According to the advertisement it pays pretty well, but as far as I’m concerned, I just want to get a job and start earning some money, regardless how much that would be. So I really hope to put up my best performance next Wednesday at the interview so that they will take me in.

Sis is coming back to Hong Kong tomorrow – so maybe for the weekend I don’t have to talk to the walls at home already!
