I spent the day preparing for one of the modules. I was reading through the course materials and coming up with the lecture presentations. Now I understand it’s really not easy to be preparing for classes as a lecturer. Sometimes we moan about lecturers not knowing what they are teaching, have no idea about if the things they are teaching are worth the trouble, etc etc. Now I know it’s really not that easy as it all seems. And I think it’s the more harder because I have to make sure that I can cater to the students, and not like in university when some lecturers can’t even be bothered about if their classes are interesting or useful or not.
Cathay Pacific rejected my application – their loss. While it was a bit disappointing to read that email, I guess the fact that I’m employed now makes it slightly better. At least now I can fully concentrate on being a good teacher!
I guess tomorrow should pretty much be similar to today – I should be busy preparing lecture slides!
