Week One.

After one whole week of waking up at 7, rushing on the MTR, standing all the way from Lam Tin to Cheung Sha Wan, I’m finally embracing the weekend!

The first week of work has been good, though fairly uneventful. I spent most of my time preparing for class and coming up with the lecture materials. I’m not exactly sure how I want to deliver my class yet, because I haven’t really got to see my students yet, so I don’t know what to expect out from them. Should I make the class very easy, or should I make it very challenging? I guess after the first class on the Monday after next, I should have a much better idea.

Sis bought a new PC today, and it was a pretty decent one. We went to Golden Computer Centre at Sham Shui Po to get the computer, and in the end she decided on a self-assembled PC, costing HKD 8000 with a 19-inch LCD monitor. I guess that sounds like a fairly good deal considering the specifications of the computer. Now I’m getting tempted to get myself a PC too.

I need rest now, so I’m off. It’s good that I don’t have to wake up at 7 again tomorrow. Woot!
