The past few days were pretty much the same as last week. I was preparing for my materials for the classes which are scheduled to start next week. A few of my colleagues have been giving me some metal preparations about what I will be facing – it certainly doesn’t sound easy, but I hope I can manage. The bad thing about this job is that it forces me to wake up early – at about 7.15 in the morning. While it isn’t exactly far to travel from Lam Tin to Cheung Sha Wan, I have to be in school at about 8.30 – earlier if my classes were to start at 8.30. I know I shouldn’t be complaining because it could have been worse (for example, Cathay City is in Lantau and it is an hour and a half by public transport), but the bad thing is always about waking up early…
It’s been more than a month since I left Singapore and to be honest, while there aren’t that many things that I’m missing about Singapore, there are certainly a few people whom my mind is constantly on. I guess it can’t be helped because most of the time I’m alone here, so it is kind of inevitable that my mind would wander off to those people. Thank God for MSN – now only if they can be on Skype too!
Oh by the way my Skype ID is kubicwave – if anyone of you feels like then just add me to your list!
