Today’s cold. It seems like the whole week would be cold.

Oh before I go on, I just want to announce that I’ve opened another journal (I actually hate using the word “blog” because it sounds so silly) at www.kubicwave.hk to talk about my experience as a teacher. So sometimes some messages will be published in both kubicwave.com and kubicwave.hk. But don’t worry – kubicwave.com will continue to update you about my life, not just as a teacher, but also other aspects (though I must say that these couple of weeks there hasn’t been much except my stint as a teacher).

Today’s first class was quite an eye-opening experience. I only had to talk for about 5 minutes because my colleague was doing the teaching today. I told the class a bit about myself – I hope I made myself look interesting! Then I spent the remaining of the day preparing for tomorrow’s classes, when I am going to handle it all by myself! The most exciting thing though was to re-learn JavaScript, because I have to be familiar with AJAX as it will be part of the syllabus. I used to play quite a bit of JS a couple of years back, but after a long time, I have not really been touching JS, so it’s good to try to re-learn everything again!

Sometimes it’s not really fun to be walking outside when it’s cold because my nose gets either blocked or feels very cold inside. But to be honest, I’d very much rather be in a cold place than a hot place. At least I won’t be perspiring all over. Haha.
