Today the campus is filled with very joyous atmosphere because the HKBU Commencement ceremonies are in progress. Seeing all those graduates donning their gowns and mortarboards reminded me so much of my own Commencement back in July. As I was telling one of my colleagues, Commencement was really a happy occasion, and I think I would never regret going back to Singapore for my own Commencement, as much as I still am very bitter about my second lower honours.
As I look at these bunch of graduates, I think I am getting more inspired for my own postgraduate course now. Not that the course now would make me happier (because I still am not learning anything really value-adding yet), but I really feel that I want to get that degree. Some people may think it’s mad, but I think I really like studying. I mean, the process of learning something is always enjoyable, isn’t it?
