Monday.

Monday is never a nice day for work, especially when I had to come into office last Saturday.

Did quite a bit of shopping over the weekend and spent about $1500 on a pair of leather shoes, an Adidas jacket and some socks at Muji. I gave myself good reasons to get those stuffs (or some would call it excuses) – my old pair of leather shoes, which I’ve worn for 5 years, is finally giving way and I decided that I would get a new pair before my feet my feet give way instead. I bought a jacket because I reckon it would look too silly for me if I were to wear my NUS windbreaker out to places like Mong Kok or Central, so the Adidas one serves just nice. It wasn’t too thick a jacket, so it’s good to be worn in weathers like today’s. The explanation for the socks were simple – Muji socks feel comfortable, and my other pairs are getting worn out as a result of my shoes getting worn out. Strange but true.

For some strange reasons I’m suddenly thinking of my crush back in JC, and a casual Google search on her name brought up some interesting information like where she works and what she’s working as. But hey, I’m just being curious – it’s not as if I’m a stalker! It’s not my fault that her company puts her picture, her real name and her position in the company up on the Internet! That said, I don’t think I would want to do anything about the situation at this point of time. For all you know, she might be married with kids already! Though I do admit that it would be interesting if I’d get to see her again.

But befor you start to get hyped and all that – nope, I don’t have anyone on my mind yet, so you can continue to introduce me to all the female friends you have whom you think would regret living without knowing me. Haha.
