Lunchtime.

Looks like I’ve been away from my journal for quite a while. I guess lazybugs are striking most of the time!

To be honest, most of the time when I get back home from work I’m almost knackered to the last bit so updating my journal is dropping further and further down my priority list. So I think in order for me to stop being so procrastinating, I shall use my lunchtimes to update my journal instead.

Lately work has been looking on the up for me, though that doesn’t mean that I am getting to do big and exciting things that I set up to do when I first started. On the contrary, it’s pretty much still the same things. But I guess I’ve somewhat changed my perspective, or should I say, God made me change my perspective of looking at things. The work is still to be hone, but how I view the work is what determines whether the work is good or bad. There are still lots of “sai kang” to be done, but I would say that if looking at it from the bright side, sai kangs can be enjoyable too.

The polling day is on this Saturday and I’ll be flying back to Singapore to be part of this massive thing – my first time ever voting in Singapore, in fact. Of course, some might say what’s so interesting about voting, but because voting is compulsory and if you don’t vote in this election you can’t vote for future elections, and just so happened that my overseas voter registration has just lapsed (not a ruling party plot may I add), I’ll have to fly back to do the voting. And since there are some red-lettered days around the period, I’d just couple a day of leave in there to make a trip slightly longer, so those of you who didn’t manage to see me the last time round, time to make your reservations!
