Weekend.

The weekend that has just gone past wasn’t exactly the best weekend that I’ve ever had in my life, especially the period from 2:45am to 7am on Sunday morning. Manchester United getting outclassed in the Champions League final by Barcelona certainly did not make for any pleasant experience, and to see Edwin van der Sar bowing out of the game in such a manner was particularly painful too. But if you ask me, for this United squad to have come this far, it is already an achievement. Losing isn’t an issue, though I would have appreciated more if Barcelona didn’t have to roll on the floor upon the slightest contact by a United player. It does irk me to see them still diving around even when they are 3-1 up.

The cough that I’m having is still not showing any sign of easing up. It was especially painful at night, when on more than one occasion I was woken up by my own cough. And it wasn’t as though the coughing was light ones, they were really long and heavy coughs that I felt that some organs inside me were about to come out of my mouth. I just hope that it’s not something like bronchitis or pneumonia that’s acting up.

The weather is getting hot and hopefully I can last through this summer, which I believe will run from now all the way to the end of October. I can, however, make do with a few typhoons and black rainstorm signals – only for the sole purpose of cooling down. If these phenomena are going to cost people to lose their belongings or lives, then just forget it. I’ll bear the heat myself then.

And yes, please continue to pray for me regarding my cough.
