Brick.

The geek in me woke up yesterday and it asked me to try to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy Tab to Android Honeycomb from the earlier Froyo. And just like my favourite team Manchester United, I did things the hard way and am now stuck with a semi-bricked Galaxy Tab. Luckily for me, the geek in my is Googling all over the place and found some rather useful solutions, and now the geek mode is switched on again and hopefully I can resuscitate that piece of plastic soon. Either way, I couldn’t bring it back to Samsung to get it fixed (for reasons best known to geeks only) and I think that is too much an insult for a computer science student like me (OK I did major only in electronic commerce). So I’ll continue to try on my own, and all I can say is, I managed to get Odin to detect that piece of garbage, so that’s a good start.

Though just as I was finishing, the first attempt to resuscitate the Tab failed. Never mind, I’ve got the whole day…
