Have been chasing some Korean dramas lately, even during lunch breaks, which means that I have skipped quite a few editions of my journal. Oh well, sometimes you get so hooked on serial dramas that you’d just want to make sure you won’t miss anything. Lately I’m chasing “The Innocent Man” starred by Lee Soong Ki and Moon Chae Won. Moon Chae Won is in fact one of my favourite Korean actresses. I was quite impressed with her ever since “Brilliant Legacy”, and I thought she was very natural, and in “The Innocent Man”, I think she portrayed the character brilliantly. The series is still ongoing, and I probably would try finish the whole series – which would be mid-November!
Anyway because of “Reply 1997”, lately it seems that many people are getting reminiscent on the old times. For me, I didn’t have the opportunity to live in Korea to experience the exact things that the Korean people went through then, but I do have my own memories in Singapore. But for me, I think my best memories of the teenage years was those 2 years in junior college. I had a lot of fun hanging out with friends at various places near school, having crushes on other girls, getting into trouble with teachers… those memories were just great. I guess everyone of us have our own memories, and they make up what we are today. My only regret probably was never managing to muster up enough guts to tell the girl I liked that I actually liked her, and I guess those are the things that after all these years (13 years for me since I left junior college) you would occasionally stop and think about, with perhaps a smile to your face.
All my friends from my JC days – how have you guys been?
