Mark Twain.

I don’t normally do two posts a day, but in the light of some childish and idiotic people, I’ve decided to post some wisdom from Mark Twain to remind myself (and everyone) that we shouldn’t take these people too seriously:

1. Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.

2. Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint.

3. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

4. Don’t go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.

5. Noise proves nothing. Often a hen who has merely laid an egg cackles as if she laid an asteroid.

And one more quote – may not be from Mark Twain, but makes just as much sense:

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Isn’t that lovely?
